Holiday Inn Wilkes Barre - East Mountain, An Ihg Hotel, Wilkes-Barre

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms, although lacking a microwave or minifridge and having a slight strange smell upon entering, were clean, nicely decorated, and even included Bath & Body Works freebies. The location was fantastic, being very close to restaurants, the city, and ski resorts. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the cancellation of a celebration. The dining experience was generally good, with a free shuttle to the Casino and quality juices, but there were some hiccups with the menu, particularly the pancakes. Overall, the hotel had great facilities and offered good value for money.

The hotel was conveniently located near the main entrance, making it easy to handle luggage. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with modern amenities like a Keurig-style coffee maker and a large LCD TV. However, the early check-in wasn't available, which was a minor inconvenience. The service was top-notch, with a very helpful and courteous staff, especially the shift manager. The location was ideal for our visit, being easy to reach and offering a quiet setting. The dining experience exceeded expectations with well-prepared meals. The facilities were excellent overall, providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
